The taste of simplicity

quality ingredients take center stage

Recognizable flavors, carefully crafted dishes, and a constant focus on quality. True excellence lies in simple things done well. We don’t seek the element of surprise but rather the perfect balance. Our dishes are made with a few carefully selected ingredients, processed with techniques that preserve their natural goodness.

The Chef

Respecting the ingredients

We believe that true flavor doesn’t need to be masked. Our cuisine aims to bring out the best in every ingredient, treating it with respect and avoiding excess, preserving its natural essence, and enhancing its taste with refined, straightforward preparations. Each dish is designed to highlight the quality of the ingredients without overshadowing them. The result? A clean, honest cuisine where every bite tells a story of authenticity.

Tradition

Ladin dinner

Every Thursday, we proudly renew a tradition that is now widespread throughout Alta Badia but was born right here. It was our Signora Ida who, many years ago, realized that Ladin cuisine, once considered too simple for “sophisticated” guests, could actually win them over with its authentic flavors. Convincing everyone wasn’t easy—people assumed guests expected something more refined. But Ida knew that true quality needs no embellishment. Against all odds, her idea was a resounding success, creating a tradition that we still celebrate today.

Our wine selection includes around a hundred labels, with a strong focus on South Tyrol, a land of fine and characterful wines. Alongside these, we offer some excellent choices from other Italian regions for our international guests who wish to discover them, as well as a selection from neighboring countries – perfect for those who love to explore beyond borders.

Breakfast

A real good morning

What’s better than starting the day with a cappuccino and croissant? Maybe a fresh smoothie with alpine yogurt and wild berries, a soft homemade cake, seed bread from the village baker with mountain honey and jam, or scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage. We don’t know what the perfect breakfast is, but at our buffet, you’ll find everything you need to start your day in the Dolomites in the best way possible.
